FAQ

The most frequently asked questions we ask ourselves before our first canyoning trip

No jump is obligatory, it is always possible to overcome obstacles in another way, for example by going around the jump, taking a natural slide or abseiling with a rope.

It is necessary to have a good pair of sports or walking shoes that secure the ankle. In the canyon, the rocks and river bottoms are very slippery and the stones are often unstable, which is why it is important to have the right shoes. Please note that beach type slippers are strongly discouraged!

This magnificent canyon is located near Grenoble and particularly in the Vercors massif. A great canyon to discover canyoning is that of Furon, only 15 minutes from Grenoble and even accessible by public transport. In addition, one of the most beautiful canyons in France which is located 35 minutes from Grenoble, still in the Vercors massif, is the Ecouges canyon. Find all our canyons in the different sections in the site’s home bar.

We offer outings suitable for children aged 8 and over, several canyons are suitable for children as well as adults who are a little apprehensive. Do not hesitate to contact us so that we can guide you on the best canyon for you.

You don’t necessarily have to know how to swim to go canyoning. However, you have to go through a canyon that is as unsuitable for swimming as possible. Depending on the canyons, some are more aquatic than others.

The specific equipment for canyoning is provided by us, including a full neoprene suit, neoprene slippers to protect the feet from the cold, a helmet and a harness. You will be asked to bring a good pair of sports shoes that hold your ankles well, a swimsuit or swim shorts, a towel and a bottle of water.

We do not recommend canyoning while you are pregnant, even at the start of pregnancy.
