Physical condition

A correct physical condition is required to enjoy this canyon, which is a little longer than the Discovery canyons.

Safely

You will be supervised by a state-certified and experienced guide. He knows the canyon by heart and will show you the best passages. Jumps are never obligatory.

Level

Accessible from 12 years old. Perfect for enjoying all the possibilities of the canyon and its sensations!

Duration

The sensation canyons take place for half a day or a full day. Appointments will be given most of the time at 9 a.m. for the morning outing and 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon outing.

Material to provide

You will be asked to bring a good pair of sports shoes that hold your ankles, a swimsuit (swim shorts accepted), towel, bottle of water.

Equipment provided

Neoprene suit, neoprene liner to put in your shoes, helmet and harness.

Massif

The canyon is located in the Vercors massif. Massif classified as a regional park, which is full of canyons thanks to its limestone rock which allows the water to carve magnificent gorges.

The sensation canyons are perfect for going a little further in the discovery of canyoning. The descent of the canyon is often longer and offers higher or more technical obstacles, don’t be afraid, it still remains affordable and the guide is there to accompany you and help you pass these obstacles in complete safety

It is suitable for all levels from 12 years old and allows everyone to progress at their own pace. On the program: jumps, slides, rappels from different heights, passage through siphons, underground progression, something to please everyone. Jumps are never obligatory, there is always a workaround or the possibility of using a rope for abseiling.

No jump is obligatory, it is always possible to pass the obstacles in another way, for example by going around the jump, by going down a slide or by abseiling with a rope.

It is necessary to have a good pair of sports or walking shoes that secure the ankle. In the canyon, the rocks and river bottoms are very slippery and the stones are often unstable, which is why it is important to have the right shoes. Please note that beach type slippers are strongly discouraged!

We offer outings suitable for children aged 8 and over, several canyons are suitable for children as well as adults who are a little apprehensive. Do not hesitate to contact us so that we can guide you on the best canyon for you.

You don’t necessarily have to know how to swim to go canyoning. However, you have to go through a canyon that is as unsuitable for swimming as possible. Depending on the canyons, some are more aquatic than others.

In addition, the neoprene suit provided during the outing allows you to float on the surface of the water and therefore help a person who is not necessarily comfortable with this element. We are here to advise you on the best canyon for you.
